In a shocking revelation, Cassidy Hutchinson, a former top aide to ex-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, has come forward with allegations of inappropriate conduct by former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani. These accusations are detailed in her upcoming book, “Enough,” which is set to be released next week.

The Allegations:

Hutchinson describes her encounter with Giuliani at an event on January 6, 2021, shortly before the infamous Capitol riot. According to excerpts from her book, she felt uncomfortable as Giuliani approached her backstage while President Donald Trump addressed his supporters near the White House. Hutchinson characterizes Giuliani’s demeanor as “like a wolf closing in on its prey.”

In her account, Hutchinson alleges that Giuliani presented her with a stack of documents and then proceeded to touch her inappropriately. She states that Giuliani’s hand went “under my blazer, then my skirt,” causing her to recoil from his advances.

The excerpts from Hutchinson’s book were initially reported by The Guardian, and although NBC News has not obtained a copy of the book, a source familiar with its contents confirmed the accuracy of the published quotes.

Response from Giuliani’s Camp:

Ted Goodman, a spokesperson for Rudy Giuliani, vehemently denied these allegations, labeling them as “a disgusting lie.” He questioned the timing of Hutchinson’s claims, pointing out that they emerged as part of the marketing campaign for her book.

Giuliani’s defense stressed his distinguished career in public service, including his efforts in taking down the Mafia, revitalizing New York City, and providing leadership during the aftermath of the September 11th attacks.

Hutchinson’s Background:

Cassidy Hutchinson gained prominence as a key witness during the House Jan. 6 committee’s investigations into the Capitol attack. Her previous public testimony included accounts of President Trump’s behavior on that fateful day. However, some of her claims faced scrutiny from other witnesses who disputed her version of events.

Giuliani’s Legal Challenges:

These allegations against Giuliani, 79, add to his growing list of legal troubles. He is already facing a lawsuit from Noelle Dunphy, who accused him of harassment and discussing the sale of presidential pardons during her employment in 2019. Giuliani has denied these allegations.

Furthermore, a federal judge recently found Giuliani liable for defamation in connection with his support of Trump’s claims about the 2020 election. He is also facing charges alongside Trump and others in the Georgia election interference case.

As Cassidy Hutchinson’s book prepares for release, these allegations against Giuliani are likely to garner significant attention and further complicate his legal predicament. Stay tuned for updates on this evolving story.
