The Celtics dominated from the outset, leading 42-19 at the end of the first quarter, leaving the Wizards with an uphill battle. The scoring leaders for the Celtics included Jalen Brown, who contributed an impressive 36 points, closely followed by Jayson Tatum, who added 33 points. Kristaps Porzingis also chipped in with 15 points.
Despite the challenging matchup, the Wizards had five players who achieved double-digit scoring. Kyle Kuzma led the Wizards with 21 points, while Eugene Omoruyi contributed 14 points. Deni Avdija, Tyus Jones, and Jordan Poole each added 11 points to the scoreboard.
